Office for Advice, Assistance, Support and Information on Special Needs
Aims to reach out to parents with autistic spectrum difficulties to improve their knowledge and understanding of these disorders, and thereby improve the quality of life of their children and whole family. Offer advice, support, literature and training to parents of children with special needs. Publications include: Do you know someone with autism? and Transition to adult life.

Office for National Statistics
This is a Government service providing statistical information on many aspects of national information. The Governmental statistical service aims to provide Parliament, Government and the wider community with the statistical information, analysis and advice needed to improve decision making, stimulate research and inform debate.

Office of Fair Trading
Aims to idenify and put right trading practices which are against the consumers interests. Activities include regulating the provision of consumer credit. Acting directly on the activites of industry and commerce by investigating and remedying anti-competitve practices and avuses of market power, and bringing about market structures which encourage competitive behaviour.

Orpheus Centre
Offers a varied selection of short residential, theatre and music courses for disabled people. The site has a theatre, recording studio, rehearsal space and accommodation. Places are for 1-3 years funded through social services.

OUTSET - Real Jobs for Disabled People
This is a registered charity which promotes information technology training for people with disabilities. It runs courses which include general office skills, typing and computer training and offers a job search. It also runs a consultancy and planning service and disability awareness training (DAT). Also provide a home based training package, and can loan equipment for the course.

OWNBASE
