Aims to provide an opportunity for younger disabled people to explore independent lifestyles, with freedom of choice. Runs a forum where young disabled people can discuss having independent lifestyles with freedom of choice, openly on honestly in a supportive group.

Foundation for the Advancement of Assistive Technology
FAST is a national charity which believes assistive technology research and development is not always sufficiently needs driven and a lot of disabled people remain unaware of potentially beneficial initiatives. FAST aims to facilitate the advancement of assistive technology by liaising between research and development institutions, manufacturers, service providers and end-users. FAST is currently creating a comprehensive on-line database of assistive technology research and development and related information which will be launched on our website in January 2001. To achieve more needs based design we are looking for end users to participate in the development of disability equipment (assistive technology), to consider its effectiveness, suitability to your needs, reliability and make any positive suggestions. GIN (groups in need), helps groups identify trusts and foundations that might fund their work. PIN (people in need), identifies the trusts and foundations that might make a grant to an individual.
