Shetland Double Drop Arm Chair facilitates sideways transfer and hoisting and comes in two sizes and heights whilst Shetland Porter Chair with push handle, retractable footplate and lockable wheels and the option of double drop arms comes in one seat size only.
Supportive and comfortable side transfer chair easily operated by the user or by a carer.
• Both arms lift up and out to drop down level with the seat.
• Arm fills gap between chair and wheelchair for ease of transfer.
• No catches, bolts or finger traps.
• Drop arms facilitate introduction of hoist sling under user.
• Choice of two seat heights 470mm (18.5”) or 520mm (20.5”)
• Choice of two seat widths: standard 510mm (20”) or wide 585mm (23”) at extra cost
May be supplied with wings as an optional extra although these could potentially interfere with side transfer. Standard padded arms.
Strong underframe to withstand pressures of side transfer.

NB: The Shetland Drop Arm chair is only available in Natural Beech Finish.
Many be fitted with pressure distributing visco elastic foam in seat as an optional extra.
