Our reputation for customer service has been key to our current and on-going success, offering a personal service and ensuring that our customers are happy with their purchases. Products will be delivered by one of our friendly drivers dependant on geographical location or alternatively by our preferred carrier.
Our aim is to deliver goods no later than 3-5 working days from date of order. However should an item be temporarily out of stock please allow up to 7 working days for delivery unless otherwise advised. Order acknowledgement will be advised by e-mail within 12 hours of receipt. Order status will be notified via e-mail to clients ordering from our website informing the client of despatch date and estimated date of delivery.
Certain items displayed on the website are specifically made to order according to the clients specific requirements, in which case the client is contacted to advise of anticipated delivery times.
All orders of £100 nett goods or over will be delivered carriage free. Should the order be under this amount then the client will be advised of the carriage charge via their shopping basket checkout for their product(s) selection. International deliveries are available "price on application" for country of destination.
Upon receipt please check the number of cartons against the consignment note and sign for the goods "unexamined". If any damage is apparent please sign as "damaged". Shortages and/or damage must be reported to us in writing within 3 working days otherwise the goods will be non-returnable. If damage has been sustained please retain all packaging, as our carriers will refuse to uplift unpacked goods.
We reserve the right to change prices without prior notification.
Payment can be made by Switch (minimum order £25.00), MasterCard and Visa credit card or by cheque made payable to IRM Mobility & Healthcare Limited, at point of order. All cheque payments must be cleared prior to goods being despatched. We reserve the right to amend prices at anytime.
Individuals purchasing mobility products for their own personal use may be exempt from paying VAT. We will require you to sign a simple declaration form that confirms you are eligible to receive goods at a VAT exempt price. Our prices are therefore shown exclusive of any VAT. Any VAT exemption claim will be processed to each client upon receipt of the VAT exemption form as required by HM Customs & Excise.
All of our products come with a full 12 months' guarantee against faulty manufacture or materials. In most instances we will arrange to collect and/or repair your machine if required. This warranty does not cover maintenance problems such as flat batteries and punctures. In these instances a call out charge may be levied and is discretionary.
If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason you can return it to us, in an unused "as new" condition, within its original packaging, within 7 days of delivery and receive a full refund (less delivery costs). Collection can be arranged and will be chargeable at cost. Any non faulty returns made outside of this period would be subject to a 15% handling charge.
Cancellations will only be accepted in writing. However should the goods have been made to order or despatched they will be subject to a 15% handling charge.
If the product is faulty/damaged upon receipt, please contact our Customer Services Department immediately and if the matter cannot be sorted out over the phone we will arrange the collection or for a member of staff to call and inspect the product(s). We will not however supply replacement goods at this point prior to inspection. We reserve the right to refund the price of the goods, or a proportion of the price, instead of replacing goods. We will not be liable to the customer in the event of delay or failure to perform the contract due to any cause beyond our reasonable control. Repairs to any goods found to have been damaged/misused will be chargeable.
All returned goods must be clean and free from contamination in accordance with Health & Safety regulations pertaining to risk of infection to employees. Any items contaminated with blood, faeces, urine and other body fluids pose a serious risk to our employees, as well as employees of the carriers, postal workers and anyone else who may come into contact with the contaminated unit. Any contaminated items will not be accepted and will be returned to you in the same condition as received. A carriage and handling charge will be made.
IRM Mobility & Healthcare Ltd. retains title of goods until full payment is received, and goods cannot be resold by the Buyer or his Representative, prior to full payment being made. Any third party concerned in the use or resale of goods must be informed of this condition. Responsibility of maintenance and insurance passes to the purchaser on delivery. Until full payment has been made, IRM Mobility & Healthcare Ltd. may at any time recover the goods and may enter the Buyer's premises for this purpose, after giving notice of intention to repossess.
Fire Retardancy and British Standards are of major importance particularly when supplying our kind of products and we ensure that all items conform to the relevant standards. If you require individual British Standards or Fire Retardancy specifications, we will be happy to supply details on request.
Specifications and dimensions are approximate and as designs improve some items may vary from those illustrated in our advertising material. Due to the printing process, the colours illustrated may not exactly match the actual product. This also applies to products such as bed linen and textiles whose colours may vary during their manufacture.
The Laws of England govern this contract and any dispute(s) arising from the sale of goods by IRM Mobility & Healthcare Ltd. will be resolved in the Courts of England. It is intended that variations of these Terms and Conditions should only be done by written agreement.
